SHOCKING! WOMAN BEATEN TO DEATH BY HER HUSBAND IN EGBEDA

The woman above identified as Ronke Bewaji Shonde was reported to have been beaten to death by her husband in the early hours of yesterday May 6th at their home at Tiemo Crescent off Awori street in Egbeda Lagos. A close family friend who broke the news said Ronke and her husband had a fight earlier that morning at their home while their kids were still asleep. A neighbour later claimed he heard the noise coming from their flat earlier in the day but didn’t think it would result in something horrific.

At about 7am that morning, the couple’s nanny came to the house to resume work for the day only to find the house locked up. She tried to call her madam whose phone was switched off. As she peeped through the window she discovered the couple’s 6 and 4 year old kids crying and saying they couldn’t get their mum to wake up. Neighbours then gathered and forcefully opened the door only to find the victims lifeless body on the floor, with blood spilling out of her bashed skull.
