UNBELIEVABLE! 7-YEAR OLD GIRL BORN WITHOUT HANDS WINS WRITING COMPETITIOn

Like the saying goes, anything is possible with the right mindset. Anaya Ellick, a seven year old girl born without hands, from Chesapeake, Virginia has won a United States national handwriting competition.

According to British Broadcasting Corporation, she does not use prosthetic hands to write. Rather, she stands to get the proper angle, holding a pencil between her arms.

Tracy Cox, her principal from Greenbrier Christian Academy, described her as an “inspiration”, adding that

“She does not let anything get in the way of doing what she has set out to do. She is a hard worker and has some of the best handwriting in her class”
