A student of the department of leisure and tourism of the Adamawa state polytechnic, Yola has been accused of slitting his girlfriend’s throat out of jealousy. The girlfriend, Ishaya, a diploma 2 student of same department, is presently at the specialist hospital Yola.
According to Facebook user,Mustapha Atiku Ribadu who shared the story, the boyfriend simply identified as “presido” is an extra year student of the polytechnic. He wrote:
On the faithful day “presido” saw his girlfriend Ishaya alighting from somebody’s car, where he suspected that the car owner snatched his girlfriend. On seeing the girlfriend coming out of someone’s car, he ambushed her very close to the female hostel of the polytechnic popularly known as “gollans” ,after beating her, he used a knife on her throat in an attempt to butcher her. Some students who heard her wailing came to her rescue, though she survived it but she is in a critical condition.
