A lady who has been identified as Joy Akatugba, is said to now be a resident of the streets in Sapele, Delta State .
she met this misfortune after she was allegedly accused of witchcraft and was brutally beaten by soldiers and left to die.
A Facebook user, Yome Gold, gave a narrative of how she came across the lady sprawled on the road on Wednesday, December 27.
Yome wrote:-
A quick report on Joy Akatugba.
I met this lady yesterday afternoon. And no she is not mentally deranged as she speaks fine and identified herself.
She is a victim of society wickedness. Accused of witchcraft, beaten to pulp ( by #soldiers) till there was no strength in her and left to die on the road.
Please I crave the good minds of well-meaning Nigerians resident in Warri, Effurun, Ekpan and environs to do something to help this lady. God bless
