Residents of Oteri, Ughelli, Delta State were, yesterday, thrown into mourning, after a young gospel musician cum dancer repeatedly stabbed himself before eventually slitting his own throat.
According to reports, the deceased, identified as Mukoro Ovie, didn’t allow anyone to get close to him. The more people tried to get close, the more he stabbed himself.
The police were later called to the scene but that did stop him. Ovie eventually slit his own throat while the police were attempting to overpower him. No one knows what triggered his action.
