Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has appreciated his old friend for helping him secure a job several years ago.
The old friend via Twitter revealed that he recommended the “Young Love” singer for a design job years ago and he got his pay in dollars. After getting paid he revealed that Adekunle offered to give him money but he declined. He also revealed that the singer could not believe his kind gesture and kept on thanking him for the help he rendered.
“I remember one day i recommended Adekunle Gold for a design job. I think the pay was in dollars. He kept calling me to say thank you lol. He even offered me a cut. And i think he couldn’t believe it when i said he shouldn’t worry about it. Look at him today.. Favour guys”
Adekunle responded to the tweet revealing that he can never forget the kind gesture and is still grateful to him. “How can I ever forget this tobi? Thanks Man. Forever grateful”
