Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay has announced that she will be deleting her verified Instagram account @iamseyishay.
The controversial singer left her fans wondering after she posted a video saying, she is deleting her official IG account with over 1.1 million followers.
According to Seyi Shay, she is deleting the account because “it’s time for evolution”. She disclosed that she is ready to take the next chapter of the best times of her life. Seyi Shay opened up about wanting to let old things go.
She also used the opportunity to thank her loyal fans for always supporting her, defending her, and commenting on her posts on Instagram. She advised her true fans not to miss out on the best chapter of her life by following her new IG account @seyishaygram.
Most of her followers didn’t buy her reason and have decided to drop theirs. They wrote that she’s deleting her account because of her nude photos and also her fight with Tiwa Savage. Others commented that it’s because of the bashing she received as a Judge on Nigeria’s Idol. The good followers wished her well and promised to follow her on her new account.
