Rema sets a new milestone after hit song “Calm Down” sold 60 thousand units in India, which is equivalent to 12 million streams.
The vocalist is now qualified for a Gold certification from the Indian Music Industry, the most prestigious recording company in the nation, as a result.
Just some days ago, “Calm Down” had also peaked on the Indian Charts at number 19, with Rema himself tweeting a screenshot of the charts with the statement, “That sound in the ‘Indian Charts’ 
”.
Adding to the Calm Down streak, the video had likewise, made a new record of being the fastest Afrobeats video to hit 200million views.
“Calm Down” which is obviously now Rema’s biggest song of all time has been breaking records in different countries. In July, the Jonzing/Mavin Record artiste added a platinum certification to his shelf in France.
In addition, Rema now holds the newest record with “Calm Down” (5 months, 14 days), while Burna Boy had the fastest Afrobeats song to achieve Platinum in France with On The Low (1 year+), CKay broke the record with Emiliana (5 months, 23 days).
