Nigerian dancer and singer Korra Obidi faced criticism after some Nigerians questioned her decision to use over $50,000 donated for her legal fees to go on vacation.
Just days earlier, she had tearfully appealed to her social media followers for financial assistance to resolve legal issues with her ex-husband.
Despite her explanation that the vacation to Hawaii was planned before her plea for donations, many remained skeptical about her intentions.
Korra Obidi insisted that the funds would indeed be allocated as promised, urging people to trust her.
