Sensational Nigerian singer and songwriter, Adedamola Adefolahan better known as Fireboy DML, has revealed why he and his colleague, Rema, decided to collaborate instead of listening to fans yarns for a beef.
The YBNL record signee, while speaking in an interview with Ebro on Apple music said himself and Rema are the two leading Afrobeats artistes in their generation and decided to work together because they are much “advanced”.
His words:
“Myself and Rema are the two leading [Afrobeats] artists of our generation. We came together and realised that instead of giving the fans what they want which is beef, let’s collaborate.
Because we are too advanced for this stuff. We didn’t even give them a club banger, we made proper music. We have five more collaborations.”
