A horrible crime happened in Bauchi, Nigeria. A 60-year-old woman named Safiya Yunusa was found killed inside her own home.
Safiya’s son, Aliyu, discovered what happened and called the police right away. The police arrived quickly and started investigating.
They were able to find clues at the crime scene, including footprints left behind. These footprints led them to a suspect, a 30-year-old man named Adamu Alhassan.
The police also found the weapon used in the attack. This is good news because it strengthens their case against Adamu.
He has been arrested and will be investigated further.
This is a sad situation, but the police seem to be working hard to find the person responsible for Safiya’s death.
