Rango Tenge Tenge, a popular Ugandan internet star, is among the 1,658 people following Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage on Instagram, where she boasts 18.8 million followers. With 2.1 million followers himself, Tenge Tenge’s growing online presence led Tiwa Savage to invite him to London for her son’s birthday celebration. Her son, who will be turning nine this year, is the child of her marriage with entertainment executive Tunji “Tee Billz” Balogun.
The couple wed traditionally on November 23, 2013, at The Ark in Lekki and held a white wedding on April 26, 2014, at the Armani Hotel in Dubai. They announced their first pregnancy on January 1, 2015, with their child born six months later.
Rango Tenge Tenge has previously visited Nigeria, where he performed at the Makayla Malaka children’s concert held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island. Makayla, a 12-year-old British-Nigerian singer, was joined by Tenge Tenge, as well as Nigerian comedians Emmanuella and Aunty Success. Photos of the trio together before the show went viral in Nigeria.
Additionally, Tenge Tenge, whose real name is Saad Ssozi, is rumored to be featured in an upcoming music video with Nigerian artist Davido. While Tenge Tenge has not officially confirmed this, he did use social media to express his admiration for Nigerian superstar Don Jazzy and expressed a desire to meet him before returning to Uganda.
