Nigerian rapper, Oladips has accused superstar singer, Wizkid of intellectual theft, alleging that Wizkid’s verse on Asake’s song “MMS” bears a striking resemblance to his own lyrics from “Ajala Traveller”, released in 2022.
Oladips shared a screenshot of the comparison, between his line “I had to lose myself to find my purpose” and Wizkid’s line “Lost Myself, and I found my purpose”.
Questioning the coincidence, he asked if it was “recycling or coincidence”, and called on Wizkid to address the issue.
