“How Marketers Made Me Leave Nollywood Industry” – Actress Biodun Okeowo Shares Her Plight

Popular Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has finally opened up on why she left the Yoruba movie industry.

Taking to social media, the screen goddess claimed that marketers were the reason she left the industry after blacklisting her for refusing to sleep with them.

Biodun questioned how much of their wicked actions she should talk about as she noted how they did so much damage to her career, which made her walk away from the industry.

In her words:

“Marketers were the reason I left the movie industry after blácklisting me for refusing to remove my panties. They even told producers to stop featuring me in movies and went as far as removing my head from the poster of a film where I played the lead role. How many of their w!cked actions should I even talk about? They did so much damage to my career then that l eventually got tired of acting and walked away by myself. I developed so much h@tred for a job I once had so much passion for that I began to turn jobs down.”
