Bayelsa State Governor, Duoye Diri has dismissed rumours of having any form of relationship with former BBNaija Star Nengi.
Recall that rumors had it that the reality star, Nengi has welcomed a child with the Bayelsa Governor, Diri Douye, who already has four wives.
Controversial blogger, Gistlover took to his page to share the picture of Nengi with the caption;
“SHALL WE?? By the way, she welcomed a child with a governor … 5th wife in the making? Make I talk abi make I face front? All these girls be doing the most, owo ijoba na yansh dey chop am… this gist is super messy… all the hide and seek don end ooo .”
In reaction to the claims, the spokesperson of the Bayelsa Governor, Diri Douye, Dr. Kola Oredipe, has described the claims as “baseless fabrications”.
Oredipe said:
“Nengi Rebecca Hampson has no personal relationship with Governor Diri. It is regrettable that purveyors of fake news are not happy with the towering political profile of the governor.”
This is a distraction, and some of us are very justified in the many reasons offered to regulate the use of various social media platforms.”
“Sadly, while we were inaugurating a brand new road in Yenagoa, social media e-rats were spreading falsehoods about the governor.”
