Embattled widow of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, Wunmi Aloba has expressed her deep pain over his passing, addressing certain misconceptions, including the allegation of being an addict.
In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Wunmi reflected on the life and struggles of her late husband, saying she feels that God “cheated” him by allowing his untimely death.
In her words:
“He was a responsible husband to me and a responsible son to his parents. He was not a drug addict, and he was my best friend.”
“Liam recognizes him in pictures, but my mother-in-law has said I should always let him know his dad has passed. Adura has been playing a good fatherly role for Liam.”
I am still traumatized about my husband’s death, but I know everyone will die one day. I feel God cheated my husband by allowing him to die.”
