A Nigerian woman has urged people to warn their parents against sharing their ambitions and successes with friends or acquaintances, warning that such disclosures could attract negative energy or harmful intentions.
‘’Tell your parents to stop telling their friends about your goals and achievements. They should stop telling their friends about what you are doing, where you are…it is dangerous. They will not attack your parents…That is what these parents do not know. They will not attack them. It is you that is the light..it is you that is making them happy. it is you that is bringing sucess into the family, it is you that is doing well that they will attack, not your parents”

She explained that when parents talk about their children’s goals, it’s the children who end up facing any resulting consequences — not the parents themselves.
